BENJAMIN GRANT FURNITURE
Benjamin Grant is a designer and maker based in Whaingaroa, Raglan, whose practice sits between sculptural expression and functional furniture. Working primarily with wood, he creates pieces that are both visually engaging and deeply practical—objects that hold presence within a space while inviting everyday use.
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Benjamin brings a strong foundation of technical knowledge to his work. From his purpose-built workshop, he designs and produces bespoke cabinetry alongside his own evolving body of original pieces. He also teaches part-time at the Centre for Fine Woodworking, sharing his skills while continuing to refine his own approach to form, material, and craftsmanship.
