Greg’s interest in ironwork began when his teenage son joined a Viking re-enactment group. Inspired by the weaponry his initial designs were daggers and axes, using a homemade coal fired forge. He then progressed to a homemade gas forge capable of creating a wider range of pieces including pizza cutters, door knockers and larger blades.
The past 12 months have seen Greg set up his new workshop to house a growing collection of tools and a custom built double burner gas forge from the USA, capable of higher temperatures and allowing for greater efficiency.
A hobbyist, Greg’s bespoke creations include a variety of blades, candlesticks and other homewares, along with jewellery and some more artistic pieces.
