Congratulations to Raglan Arts Weekend artists Simon Te Wheoro and Jess Santorik whose work caught the eye of Te Papa Store general manager Tania Tupu during the Easter Arts Trail.

Simon’s Takaka marble sculpture Kotiate – club blade and Jess’s carved surfboard Nehutai/Sea Spray were selected to feature at the store’s Matariki-themed display.

More than a million people from around the world visit New Zealand’s national museum every year and the store is one of the first places they see when they step inside.
